I am a multilingual licensed school psychologist   who specializes in doing psychoeducational evaluations as well as bilingual/ culturally and linguistically diverse evaluations to identify students' areas of need whether academic or behavioral.
 

Under the psychoeducational evaluations, areas of assessment and identification might be: attention deficit disorder (ADHD), specific learning disability, traumatic brain injury (TBI), autism, anxiety and depression, and intellectual disability. 

 

When encountering culturally and linguistically diverse students that present academic or behavioral concerns, a language acquisition evaluation will be conducted at the beginning of the process to assess the impact of the second language in the cognitive process. 

 

The results of these assessments create the foundations of individualized education plans tailored to your child's need  to help them thrive in school.
